Semi Hollow Gitarre in Doublecut Design
For a particularly resonant sound Gretsch uses the traditional semi-acoustic construction for the G2627T Limited Edition Streamliner. The laminated maple body is stabilized by a center block, which effectively counteracts unwanted feedback. Double cutaways and the characteristic Cateye sound holes also provide the dignified vintage look. The slim Thin U profile of the glued nato neck promises comfortable playing characteristics up to the 22nd fret of the Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Three Broad'Tron Pickups, Classic Hardware
With three Broad'Ton pickups, the G2627T Streamliner delivers a huge variety of tones, with a distinct vintage character that's well suited to the classic styles of rock'n'roll. The sophisticated circuitry with two 3-way switches allows different pickup combinations to be called up, while separate volume controls for each pickup, together with the master volume and treble slider, give full control over the tone. The electric guitar also features a Bigsby B70 vibrato for dazzling pitch modulation, a precision-adjustable Adjusto-Matic bridge and tuning-stable die-cast tuners.
